expanding the nest

September 17, 2009

Well hello!  It has been way to long since I have blogged!  Some things have been going on around the nest here and I have been putting energy in to that for the last few weeks!  Some of my readers already know, but I figured I will come out and let everyone know that My Messy Nest will be having an addition in April!  Yes!  Hubs and I are very excited about this new step in our journey together.

Here is my baby update survey that is popular in blogland:

wk9_lgYour little embryo has now officially graduated to fetus-hood. Adding to the excitement, a Doppler ultrasound device might be able to pick up the beating heart. With basic physical structures in place and increasingly distinct facial features, baby is kind of starting to look like… well… a baby!  {taken from thebump.com)

How far along: 9weeks and 3days
Total weight gain/loss: none to report
Maternity clothes: not yet but clothing is getting tight.
Stretch marks: nope.
Sleep: I am not quite as tired as I was weeks 4-7.  However now I am dealing with a bad respiratory infection so that has been keeping me up at night!
Best moment this week: We had our last appointment at our specialist and was released to go to my regular OB from now on!
Movement: not yet
Food cravings: I’ve been eating a lot of peanut butter sandwiches and have been wanting chewy, fruity candy (I normally hate that kind)
Gender: too early
Labor Signs: nope
Belly Button in or out: in
What I miss: This week was the ability to take NyQuil! haha!
What I am looking forward to: the end of nausea and finding out what we are having
Milestones: I am 3/4 the way through with the first trimester.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Thank you for letting me share this with you!  I will hopefully be up to my old blogging self here in the next couple weeks!  I miss everyone and please know that I am reading your blogs even if I have been horrible about commenting!

Much Love,

Messy Nester

Congrats! I hope your specialist (I assume an RE?) will send you on over to your OB soon and everything else is uneventful but happy.
